How to choose your Realtor in Florida?
To find a good Realtor in the USA, it's not enough to search the internet and choose the first one that comes along, especially if you want to find a Brazilian Realtor in Orlando who can guide you not only in buying a house, but also in making the best investment.
When you choose a Realtor, you are choosing one of the most important professionals in your life.
It will help you target the best investment according to your needs and not just help you buy or sell a house.
But when you need to choose your realtor in Florida, an investment you're going to make in a foreign country, what do you need to consider in this case?
As I'm sure you're looking for the best doctor to perform your surgery or the best lawyer to represent your case.
You also have to be very careful when choosing your real estate professional.
How I work.
I work mainly with foreign investors like you and my advice is much more than a simple sale, but rather to understand in detail what your motivations are for investing, or for moving to Florida.
My experience of being a Brazilian, but already a naturalized American, can help you a lot, as I understand and experience the economic scenarios in Brazil and the United States.
In my consultancy, I explain how to remit the money, how to finance it, how to pay less tax or get a higher return in DOLLAR, how to secure the property for your heirs.
Does your broker do this for you?
In addition to all this, I'll be with you step by step through the process of both buying and selling, showing you what you need to pay attention to in order to be clear about your choices.
Helping you make decisions, how to negotiate in the best way, always with your wishes and interests in mind.
How my team is oriented to work.
As I always say to a new Realtor who joins my team, our job is not to SHOW HOUSES, and many licensed Realtors think it is.
Our job is to get to know and present the region, to be up to date on the economy, what's happening in the real estate market and in markets that directly impact it.
Know what is happening in the country where the investor lives, to understand possible extra bureaucracy due to laws and government actions.
All this baggage is acquired through experience and, having been in the market for more than 10 years, I can say that with certainty.
However, this doesn't mean that new brokers aren't capable of providing quality advice; they can have a vote of confidence.
If this is your case, it is essential to understand whether the Broker is associated with a credible real estate company and who the Broker in charge of the company is.
Having a real estate agency with qualified professionals as support guarantees the necessary help for the Broker and for you who are looking for security and peace of mind when investing in the Florida real estate market.
7 questions you should ask a Realtor in Florida before you start working with them.
Now that I've told you how I work and how the Brokers associated with my real estate agency are guided to work, I want to share with you seven questions you can't fail to ask the Broker you're considering working with.
1 - Is working as a broker full time or part time?
2 - Does the Broker have any extra certifications on their CV?
3 - Does he have references to share?
4 - How long have the real estate company and the Broker with whom he is associated been on the market?
5 - Do you have experience with international transactions?
6 - Does the Broker own property in the region?
7 - Does he invest in the Florida real estate market?
All these tips and questions will help you choose a professional, but if you're like me, as well as having the security of these questions clarified, I go very much by my feeling.
My sixth sense. If I liked the person, the conversation, the talk.
